Monitoring and evaluating of outcomes in mentoring and befriending: Part B*

The aim of this course is:

To take you through the second stage of monitoring and evaluation using our new interactive outcomes toolkit. It will focus on collecting and analysing your data and reporting on the findings and relates to elements 11-12 of our Approved Provider Standard.

Drawing on the practice of mentoring and befriending programmes across the country, the toolkit gives practical step-by-step guidance on how to demonstrate the difference your project makes. Monitoring and evaluation of outcomes in mentoring and befriending: Part A covers the first stage of monitoring and evaluation.

This course will help you to:

• Develop your own monitoring tools
• Collect and analyse your data
• Write up your findings
• Present your findings to different audiences

Who should attend?

Mentoring and befriending co-ordinators and managers who have identified their outcomes but need help developing data collection methods and reporting on findings. Those who have attended Part A and projects applying for Approved Provider Standard who need support meeting the requirements of elements 11 and 12.
