This course will help you to:
- Apply a practical framework to mentoring conversations which focus on helping your mentees to manage their own situations more confidently
- Stimulate your mentees’ thinking to improve their problem solving and decision making skills, and develop their ability to create effective strategies for achieving valued goals and outcomes
- Understand and make use of higher level skills for more effective mentoring:
- Listening and responding more attentively
- Structuring questions in a clear sequence
- Support mentees to release creative thinking strategies and develop unused potential
Supporting materials:
Comprehensive course notes and handouts.
