Our resources have been developed to help increase the skills and knowledge of those involved in mentoring and befriending. They will help you in setting up, commissioning or developing your mentoring or befriending service. Our resources are added to and updated regularly to ensure they’re relevant, up-to-date and include new examples of good practice from across the sector, which reflect the good practice that we promote via the Approved Provider Standard (APS).
For our complete list of resources, which includes our training toolkits, see our A-Z list or browse by key subject areas:
- Setting up a programme
- Developing and managing volunteers
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Schools and colleges
- Criminal justice
Our resources designed specifically for schools and colleges have been developed to support you in setting up and developing peer mentoring or peer support programmes.
We also provide a directory of research and evaluation reports, a selection of case studies to support you with evidence when making funding applications and a Good practice bank (available to network members only to search for useful examples of practice from projects accredited with the Approved Provider Standard).
Many of our resources are free to download; remember that to access our full range of resources you will need to be an MBF network member, sign up today!
Many of our training toolkits have been designed and developed to support our National Training Programme, and come FREE when you attend the relevant course. Alternatively you can purchase our toolkits in hard copy for £40 or as an interactive PDF version for £15.
