Other standards
We undertook a mapping process between our previous version of APS (our newer format was introduced in September 2009) and three other quality standards:
We did this to help you see the similarities and differences between the different quality standards in case you want to achieve more than just ours. We’ve summarised the compatibility of the other standards to the principles of APS. And identified the areas where the evidence required for each standard overlaps with APS.
The mappings are based on a comparison of the evidence required for each of the standards. So they don’t provide a complete picture of each standard’s detailed requirements. You should read our mapping documents alongside each organisation’s detailed documentation for their particular standard.
