The directory lists lots of mentoring and befriending projects from across the country. If you want your project to appear in it, you need to become an MBF network member.

Projects that have achieved the Approved Provider Standard (APS) have the APS logo next to their name. These projects have been quality assured for safe and effective project management. Find out how to achieve APS: the national quality standard specifically for mentoring and befriending projects.

The directory lists lots of mentoring and befriending projects from across the country. Those that have achieved APS have the standard’s logo next to their name. If you want your project to appear in the directory, and you’ve not achieved APS, you’ll need to become an MBF network member.

The directory can be used to:

• Search for other projects in your area or with a similar client group to network and share good practice with
• Contact quality mentoring or befriending projects (APS approved ones) to find out about potential volunteering opportunities
• Find out about potential mentoring and befriending projects to refer clients to
