After assessment
Once an assessor has carried out their assessment visit they’ll submit a full report. A member of our APS team will then review and verify it.
Once we’ve verified the assessment we’ll let you know the outcome by email within one month of the assessment date. And we’ll send you a copy of the final assessment report. The final APS status decision lies with us. Find out more about the verification process here.
APS levels
After the assessment and verification process is complete you’ll receive notification of the outcome and be awarded one of the following three APS levels:
- Approved: your project meets all the requirements of the 12 elements of APS
- Conditional: your project meets most of the APS requirements, but needs to submit additional information within a specified period of time in order to become fully approved
- Not yet met: the assessment and verification process has shown that there is still considerable development to be done in order to meet the standard
Approved status
If your project is ‘approved’ you’ll receive the APS logo to use on all your promotional information and a framed certificate for the duration of your three year accreditation. And your project will have the APS logo next to it on our project directory helping it to stand out.
If you have any questions or queries relating to APS, please contact our quality standards co-ordinator, Rosy Dick or by phone on 03300 882877.
