Join a reference group
Do you want to work with us to shape the future of mentoring and befriending and the services that MBF provides? You will need to become an MBF network member to join a reference group – this is free. If you decide to join the network, then please contact us to find out more about joining one of our reference groups.
Each reference group focuses on a specific area and you choose which group you would like to join based on your interests:
- Community cohesion
- Children, young people and families
- Health and social care
- Offender-related
- Work
Reference group members can get involved in different ways – taking part in online surveys, email communications, telephone interviews, workshops and discussion forums.
By telling us about your experiences, both positive and negative, you help us to represent the sector’s position accurately – including those of your service users and volunteers – so that we can champion the impact of mentoring and befriending and develop our services appropriately to meet your needs.
We use your views to develop our policy positions, respond to government consultations and to help us prioritise our future policy direction.
Email Jeanette Boyd our information and membership services manager to find out more about joining a reference group or telephone her on 03300 882877.
