  • Wiltshire Independent Visitor Scheme

    Wiltshire Independent Visitor Scheme provides young people living in the care system with the long-term support of an independent adult befriender, throughout the time they are in care. Independent visitors meet young people for 2-3 hours every 2-3 weeks and enjoy social activities together as well as providing the young person with advice, support and a listening ear if they are experiencing any difficulties in their lives.
  • Time Together – mentoring refugees, London

    Time Together was set up by TimeBank in 2002, in response to a government white paper that recommended the provision of mentoring schemes to help refugees integrate better in the UK. The scheme aimed to complement the well-established services already provided by refugee organisations and community groups.
  • Chance UK – one-to-one mentoring for children with behavioural difficulties, London

    Chance UK was set up in 1995 in Islington, London, to reduce youth crime and anti-social behaviour across the UK. They do this by providing one-to-one mentoring for children aged 5-11 with behavioural difficulties.
  • Digitall, intergenerational mentoring – London

    Digitall brings together young people aged 18- 25 who are willing to share their knowledge and experience of using computers and the internet with people aged over 45 who are interested in getting to grips with new technology. Young people act as mentors, supporting their mentee on a one-to-one basis to achieve their digital goals.
