An evaluation of the Horizons Project – run by Refugee Action in Manchester. In three years, the project recruited over 300 refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester and Salford and assisted them to find high quality volunteering opportunities.
Volunteers reported that they gained enormous benefits: increased wellbeing and confidence, greater integration into the local community and routes into employment.
