Summary: This joint project with Arts Institute Bournemouth was used to investigate ways in which mentors can facilitate progression into HE study for ‘widening participation’ students in FE. At Plymouth College of Art the E-Mentoring project was used to identify whether student mentoring for FE students, contributed to their understanding of Higher Education and transition issues. In addition, whether these FE students would then progress onto Higher Education.
