Summary:
An evaluation of the peer mentoring initiative (Study Buddies), funded through the Aimhigher programme and operating in a number of schools within the area. The aim of the scheme is to involve older students in the mentoring of young pupils in specific subjects such as maths. However this basic premise has been adapted within individual schools and the operation may vary from school to school. Conclusion is that schemes are effective.
