Summary:
This project supported the establishment of six mentoring projects for young people leaving care and would recruit volunteer mentors to match with the young people for 9-12 months. Looks at recruitment, training and matching process and a number ofchallenges to effect implementation and management of these diverse schemes are noted and implications discussed.
