Summary:
A summary of the findings from the evaluation of the Better Off programme in Scotland. It was a £10 million grant programme which supported people who misuse/misused drugs and were trying to make changes to their lifestyle. Where appropriate, people were supported to move towards education or employment. 86% of projects encouraged social or peer bonding among their clients so they could support each other and develop social skills and links.
