Clinks launches volunteering evaluation project

20 January 2012

Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations know the importance of volunteers to their work, but existing evaluation tools tend not to differentiate between the work undertaken by volunteers and that done by staff members.

Clinks is now launching an exciting new project that aims to investigate this further. They are working with four VCS partner organisations to help them conduct impact assessments of what their volunteers are doing. We’ll be talking to volunteers, service users and statutory staff, about what they think of the volunteering relationship. In the process we will be producing some resources that other organisations can adapt for their own use.
