Qualification in mentoring for offenders update

A new qualification in mentoring for offenders is currently being finalised by Skills for Justice. This will be a level 3 award that will be recognised on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

The qualification will be awarded by Skills for Justice, who are currently going through the approval process to be recognised as an awarding body. We have been informed that a decision on this is expected in March.

MBF is planning to develop new training materials to support the new qualification and producing guidance for organisations that wish to offer the qualification. We will keep you informed of latest developments on our website and through our e-bulletin.
