National Peer Mentoring Anti-Bullying Pilot 2008-10 report released

4 January 2011

This dissemination report is based on the findings of a two year DCSF/DfE funded pilot in which the MBF engaged with 150 schools from across the country to identify how peer mentoring can contribute to reducing bullying in schools. Over 12,000 young people took part in the MBF-managed-pilot from primary, secondary and special needs schools.

The comprehensive report looks at the methods employed by schools in utilising peer mentoring as an effective tool for combating bullying while also looking at how peer mentoring supports school strategies such as SEAL and Healthy Schools.
