MBF continues to meet the specific needs of projects through bespoke training

20 January 2012

Training pictureWe’ve been receiving lots of enquiries about our in-house and bespoke training services so we thought we’d take some time to tell you a bit more about them….

Our in-house and bespoke training service allows you to take advantage of MBF’s training expertise at a time and location to suit your needs. You can ask us to deliver any of our standard courses in-house or ask us to develop a bespoke training course to meet your exact needs. We can also review any of your current training or help you to put your own course together.

All our trainers have an indepth knowledge of the mentoring and befriending sector, with experience of setting up, managing and developing programmes across a range of settings.

When working with you we will consult with you directly to make the training as specific as possible to your work.  This could involve anything from incorporating case studies of what you do to taking your staff team through exactly how they could set up a programme within the resources and needs of your organisation.

Bespoke and in house training provides an opportunity for your learners to:

  • Work exclusively with other stakeholders in your organisation
  • Develop real practice together that relates exactly to your project or organisation
  • Benefit from the wider expertise of our MBF trainers
  • Use training materials specifically designed for your work
  • Learn about how good practice applies to your work through the MBF Approved Provider Standard.

These in-house and bespoke services are cost effective when training upwards of 8 people.  If you would like to discuss the possibility of taking advantage of one of these services please contact one of our training co-ordinators, Paul Wainhouse (north) or Rachel Nicholson (south) or call 03300 882877.  We hope we’ll get to work with you in the near future!
