Grants to help change attitudes around mental health
20 February 2012Time to Change grants aim to support projects which tackle stigma and discrimination by bringing people with and without mental health problems together. They particularly encourage applications from projects run in partnership by one or more organisations. People with experience of mental health problems should be involved in the planning and development of the projects at all levels.
Applicants must be from constituted groups or organisations and partnership applications are welcomed. There will be a small minority of larger grants of around £85,000 awarded but the majority of funding will be medium and small grants of £40,000 and £20,000.
The deadline for the first round of applications is 2pm on 30 March. Grants will be awarded in May 2012.
There will be another round in Autumn 2012 and two further rounds in 2013.
