If you want your project to appear in it, you need to become an MBF network member.Projects that have achieved the Approved Provider Standard (APS) have the APS logo next to their name. These projects have been quality assured for safe and effective project management. Find out how to achieve APS: the national quality standard specifically for mentoring and befriending projects.
Many mentoring and befriending services rely on people of all ages and backgrounds to volunteer as mentors or befrienders. Projects will provide relevant training and support to enable you to volunteer effectively and will have their own recruitment procedures (likely to include an application form, interview and take up of references).
